On October 17, 2024, Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Architecture organized a field trip for the Master of Architecture in Architectural Design (International Program) to the Arsom Silp Institute of the Arts. The design studio, called the Hung And Songkittipakdee Laboratory (HAS Lab), was led by Jenchieh Hung, who served as the studio critic for “Bangkok Chameleon: Identity in a Shifting, Adapting, and Evolving World.”
During the visit, the students attended a special lecture by Yingyong Poonnopatham, the director of Arsomsilp Community and Environment Architect, who introduced the school’s philosophy and architectural practices. Later, special guest Kulthida Songkittipakdee, co-founder and principal architect of HAS Design and Research, participated in a panel discussion alongside Yingyong Poonnopatham and Chulalongkorn University’s Jenchieh Hung. The discussion focused on education, practice, and experiences in the field of architecture.
